Assistant Property Manager

Responsibilities

• Support the General Licensed Property Manager in responding to resident inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
• Assist with coding accounts payable invoices, verifying backup documentation, and preparing financial records
• Monitor common element fee payments and prepare arrears reports
• Conduct regular walkthroughs and inspections of common elements to report findings for resolution
• Coordinate contractors and service providers for routine maintenance, repairs, and special projects
• Maintain accurate owner and resident records, including correspondence, meeting minutes, and corporate files
• Prepare and distribute resident communications, notices, and community updates
• Assist with the preparation of board and owner meeting packages, including agendas and minutes

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a condominium management services role
• Valid CMRAO Limited Licence
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Strong knowledge of the Condominium Act, 1998
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Actively pursuing education requirements for a CMRAO General Licence
• Post-secondary education in business administration, real estate, or property management
• Familiarity with condominium management platforms such as Condo Control or Condo Manager
