Assistant Property Manager

Responsibilities

• Support the Property Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations and property maintenance
• Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate maintenance resolutions
• Assist with emergency service coordination and incident reporting
• Collaborate with maintenance technicians and property operations teams
• Analyze rents to aid in property underwriting
• Manage relationships with local vendors and support contract reviews
• Handle resident inquiries, onboarding, offboarding, and leasing efforts
• Track leasing metrics, manage property-level budgets, and prepare operating reports
• Monitor delinquency and support collections efforts

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in property management or real estate operations
• Strong organizational and task management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of property management laws and fair housing regulations
• Familiarity with the local Boston real estate market
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
• Ability to travel within Massachusetts (3-4 hours per week)
