Assistant Property Manager

Responsibilities

• Act in a property manager capacity as needed
• Supervise vendors, create repair agreements, and monitor insurance
• Assist with property inspections and assign work orders
• Support tenant relations, meetings, and regional programs
• Manage tenant move-ins, including keys, access cards, and mail services
• Assist with capital and tenant improvement projects
• Manage monthly accounting tasks, rent edits, accruals, and accounts payable
• Monitor tenant receivables, rent collection, and delinquency reporting
• Process invoices and maintain financial records using MRI software
• Prepare monthly operating reports and review rent rolls
• Support annual budget preparation and gathering bid proposals

Requirements

• 2-3 years of commercial property management experience
• 4-year degree (BA preferred)
• Strong mathematical and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High-level customer service and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with AI tools and applications (e.g., Copilot)
• Experience with MRI accounting software
• Experience with Prism work order software
