Assistant Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in ensuring the project is managed to quality standards and completed on time
• Manage individual tasks including submittal and RFI processes
• Assist with the preparation of proposals for new projects or variations
• Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems
• Interface with stakeholders including executive management, consultants, and vendors
• Attend meetings, transcribe minutes, and drive action items to closure
• Develop detailed project plans and contribute to monthly reporting
• Manage daily tasks such as submittal approvals, RFI processing, and change orders
• Monitor and report on project costs, spending, and EVM systems
• Assist with procurement of suppliers and resources

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Google tools
• Exposure to project management software systems
• Strong communication and organizational skills
