Assistant Project Manager - Rail and Transit

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of the Hudson Tunnel Project by assisting with project controls, compliance, and coordination.
• Assist with contract administration, procurement coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
• Support environmental monitoring, compliance programs, and NEPA evaluations.
• Implement project controls, including schedule management, cost estimating, and budget management.
• Monitor package status through daily, monthly, and quarterly reports on safety, quality, and progress.
• Assist with site supervision, field management, and quality assurance audits.
• Support design reviews, constructability analysis, and the implementation of BIM technologies.
• Assist with contract close-out, including punch-list resolution and as-built reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in project or construction management, preferably in large-scale infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of project controls, scheduling, and cost estimating.
• Proficiency with project management software and BIM technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting and engagement.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on tunnel, rail, or major transportation infrastructure projects.
• Experience with federally funded projects and regulatory compliance.
• Familiarity with environmental compliance, safety management, and quality assurance processes.
