Assistant Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in the planning, execution, and delivery of master planning and infrastructure projects
• Coordinate project activities, schedules, and deliverables to ensure timely completion
• Maintain and organize project documentation, records, and technical reports
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders regarding project requirements
• Track project progress and prepare regular status updates
• Assist in identifying project risks, issues, and potential solutions
• Coordinate meetings, prepare minutes, and follow up on action items
• Support administrative tasks including drafting correspondence, preparing estimates, and processing invoices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in project coordination or management within engineering or construction environments
• Experience using project management software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working on infrastructure or engineering consultancy projects
• Familiarity with Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar project management tools
• Knowledge of UAE project standards and practices
• PMP certification or currently working toward certification
