Assistant Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in the successful delivery of construction projects, focusing on schedule and risk management
• Administer Boost and Avetta applications to ensure contractor and site compliance
• Prepare and manage contracts, quotations, purchase requisitions, and purchase orders
• Monitor open and aged purchase orders within the JDE system to ensure timely closure
• Process non-PO invoices and coordinate shipping and logistics tracking
• Conduct weekly reviews of storage costs and freight invoices to prevent cost overruns
• Verify timesheets, including overtime and cost coding, prior to approval
• Ensure all quality documentation is completed and final defects are closed out
• Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, and Service teams for cross-functional delivery

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Building or Engineering, or an Electrical/Mechanical Trade Certificate
• 2-3 years of experience in Lift and Escalator installation project management
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work with builders, consultants, and internal teams
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Effective planning and organizational skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as a self-starter in a dynamic environment
