Assistant Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary production teams and manage resources to meet project goals
• Coach, train, and mentor design and CAD professionals
• Oversee the design and production of civil engineering construction documents, including site plans and utility profiles
• Lead design for civil utilities, site layouts, and stormwater management systems
• Coordinate with subconsultants such as geotechnical engineers and architects
• Assist in coordinating with review agencies for site permitting
• Schedule projects to align with permitting timelines and optimize resource allocation
• Cultivate professional relationships with clients and industry partners

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• Engineer in Training (EI) certification required
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or on track to obtain PE strongly preferred
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in civil site design
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of site design, utility layouts, and stormwater management
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
