Assistant Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Support overall project execution from conception through closeout
• Serve as a point of contact for clients and participate in ongoing communication
• Assist with managing project budgets, contracts, change orders, and pay applications
• Partner with the Superintendent to develop, update, and distribute project schedules
• Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, logs, and plan sets
• Support enforcement of the project safety plan and promote a strong safety culture
• Coordinate punch list activities and closeout requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in a Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or similar role
• Experience with a commercial general contractor
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and build relationships
• Must be living or able to relocate to a regional office
