Assistant Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Support overall project execution from conception through closeout
• Serve as a point of contact for clients and participate in ongoing communication
• Assist with managing project budgets, contracts, change orders, and pay applications
• Partner with the Superintendent to develop, update, and distribute project schedules
• Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and logs
• Support enforcement of the project safety plan and quality standards
• Coordinate punch list activities and project closeout requirements

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager role with a commercial general contractor
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and build relationships with subcontractors
• Must be living or able to relocate to a regional office (Allentown, Cincinnati, Dallas, Atlanta, Memphis, or Houston)
