About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage paperwork and coordination for assigned projects including pre-construction surveys and site logistics
  • Lead and document weekly internal team coordination meetings
  • Review and manage project daily logs, RFIs, submittals, and specifications
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to job specifications and floor plans
  • Distribute drawings, schedules, and punchlists to maintain project timelines
  • Assist Project Managers with project financials, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Negotiate and monitor owner and subcontractor Change Orders
  • Coordinate final close-out procedures including as-built drawings and occupancy permits

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction management
  • Proficiency in reading commercial construction plans and specifications
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working for a commercial general contractor
  • Proficiency with Procore, Timberline, and Bluebeam
  • Experience with MS Project
