About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage paperwork and coordination for assigned projects including pre-construction surveys and site logistics
- Lead and document weekly internal team coordination meetings
- Review and manage project daily logs, RFIs, submittals, and specifications
- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure safety and quality of work
- Distribute drawings, schedules, and punchlists to maintain project timelines
- Assist Project Managers with project financials, budgeting, and forecasting
- Negotiate and monitor owner and subcontractor Change Orders
- Coordinate final close-out procedures including as-built drawings and occupancy permits
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction management
- Proficiency in reading commercial construction plans and specifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working for a commercial general contractor
- Proficiency with Procore, Timberline, and Bluebeam
- Experience with MS Project
