Assistant Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Execute administrative and financial tasks including insurance coordination, billing, and change order management
• Manage the complete change order process from scope review to presentation
• Oversee billing activities, receivables, and subcontractor payments
• Support Project Managers in communicating project impacts, delays, and scope changes
• Process submittals, RFIs, and essential construction administration documents
• Utilize ERP and construction management software to maintain project records
• Interpret construction documents and support field operations
• Maintain communication with project teams and stakeholders regarding financial impacts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• 1-2 years of experience in a field-based role preferred
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting commercial construction plans and specifications
• Strong financial, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Timberline
• Experience with On-Screen Takeoff
