About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage paperwork and coordination for assigned projects including pre-construction surveys and site logistics
- Lead and document weekly internal team coordination meetings
- Review and manage project daily logs, RFIs, submittals, and specifications
- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to job specifications and floor plans
- Distribute drawings, schedules, and punchlists to maintain project timelines
- Assist Project Managers with project financials, budgeting, and forecasting
- Negotiate and monitor owner and subcontractor Change Orders
- Coordinate final close-out procedures including as-built drawings and final billing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 3 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in reading commercial construction plans and specifications
- Strong multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working for a commercial general contractor
- Experience with MS Project, Procore, Timberline, or Bluebeam
