About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist senior members of the Program team in the coordination and execution of assigned program activities and deliverables.
- Monitor weekly program metrics to measure departmental, supplier, and contractor performance and risks.
- Produce weekly and monthly program reports that measure performance against established goals and objectives.
- Distribute summary reports to senior management, identify variances from plan, and assist in developing corrective actions.
- Assist in the generation and review of program deliverables including RFPs, estimates, proposals, contracts, and business cases.
- Coordinate deliverables and documentation between engineering, procurement, and production departments.
- Escalate program delivery issues to Project Managers and the Program Director.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in shipbuilding, manufacturing, or construction.
- Experience working with engineering, planning, or production in a complex manufacturing or construction industry.
- Proficiency with project management software and tools for scheduling, reporting, and cost tracking.
- Experience with document control and reporting practices within a PMO environment.
- Strong written, spoken, and presentation communication skills.
- Proven ability to liaise across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Commerce, or Project Management.
- CAPM certification or actively working towards PMP certification.
