Assistant Project Manager – Digital Twin

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in delivering a large-scale Geospatial Digital Twin programme across all project phases.
• Assist in planning and tracking scope, schedule, budget, risks, and issues while preparing project documentation.
• Coordinate activities between international project teams, including architects, data engineers, and GIS/IoT specialists.
• Support stakeholder engagement by organizing workshops, capturing requirements, and documenting decisions.
• Assist in coordinating the development of functional requirements, solution architecture, and integration designs.
• Support the execution of Proof of Concepts (PoC) and the transition to production-grade environments.
• Prepare draft status reports, presentations, and project communications for client stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Technical degree in technology, engineering, GIS, or digital solutions.
• 8 years of experience supporting large-scale digital, Digital Twin, or geospatial projects in infrastructure or utility environments.
• Working knowledge of the Esri ArcGIS platform (ArcGIS Enterprise, Online, Pro).
• Understanding of systems integration concepts such as APIs, web services, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary, multinational teams.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills with familiarity in project planning methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Agile).
• Fluency in both spoken and written English and Arabic.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with national infrastructure owners, transport, or public works organizations.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS and modern DevOps practices.
• Professional certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or GIS (Esri certifications).
