About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of a multi-million-pound portfolio of enabling and public utilities projects supporting the development of the park and Entertainment Resort Complex.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, including planning, scope development, contracting, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
- Manage the planning and execution of infrastructure developments such as central energy plants, process water facilities, and rainwater harvesting systems.
- Coordinate with UK utility statutory undertakers to align works with project schedules, budgets, and contractor phasing.
- Manage project finances, including budget oversight, financial reporting, cash flow, and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with Environment Health & Safety (EHS) standards and obtain all necessary regulatory approvals and permits.
- Maintain hands-on management of field operations and ensure effective document control and quality design/construction work.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in construction project management within the engineering, construction, or commercial facilities industry.
- Experience in the delivery of infrastructure construction projects through both design and construction phases.
- Strong knowledge of construction delivery methods for enabling infrastructure, including mass grading, water management, and utilities.
- Direct experience coordinating with UK utility statutory undertakers.
- Ability to interpret design and construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and other project management tools.
- Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with stakeholders, vendors, and contractors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in project scheduling, estimating, bidding processes, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or Revit.
- SIA licensing and/or relevant executive security certifications.
