Assistant Project Controls Manager

Responsibilities

• Support and provide guidance to Business Units for compliance with Stage Gate templates and processes
• Emphasize compliance with strategic frameworks, governance structures, and the target operating model
• Streamline Stage Gate operations and promote best practices to ensure consistency and regulatory compliance
• Compile and review updates to Stage Gate processes and deliverable templates for Asset Development
• Assist with drafting policies, procedures, and manuals related to Stage Gates and development policies
• Support central initiatives including project tracking systems, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms for key performance metrics
• Support risk management by identifying potential risks and integrating mitigation strategies across operations
• Prepare reports to update committees and management on Stage Gate processes, data, and central initiatives
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders and external consultants to communicate updates and changes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Project Management, Real Estate, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in real estate construction projects
• Strong understanding of the real estate development and construction process lifecycle
• Proficiency with project management and workflow tools such as P6, Unifier, or Primavera
• Knowledge of development methodologies and project management processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Stage Gate processes and their implementation
• Ability to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced, and challenging environment across different internal functions
