Assistant Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the residential program to ensure quality service for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Manage program schedules, payroll, and finances including petty cash and individual funds
• Supervise and delegate tasks to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to ensure task completion
• Monitor medication administration, maintain medical records, and ensure health and safety protocols are followed
• Coordinate community activities and assist in meeting Individual Support Plan (ISP) goals
• Act as the first point of contact for staff concerns and participate in the on-call rotation
• Maintain accurate documentation in Therap, including progress notes and General Event Reports (GER)

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• At least one year of experience as a care provider, preferably with I/DD populations
• Ability to pass a criminal history check through the Department of Human Services
• Valid driver's license, insurance, and a good driving record
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
• Ability to lift up to 110 lbs and assist with transfers up to 250 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Human Development, Psychology, or a related field
• 6 months of prior management or supervisory experience
• Knowledge of I/DD Individual Support Plan (ISP) forms and implementation
