Assistant Program Director

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Director in the overall functioning and operation of the Transitional Housing Program
• Perform administrative tasks including payroll, scheduling, and petty cash management
• Provide staff supervision and leadership as a member of the management team
• Conduct group and individual counseling and provide crisis intervention
• Coordinate with state hospital maintenance personnel for the upkeep of residences
• Manage on-call responsibilities, including availability for nights and weekends

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience and/or training
• Experience working with related populations or service areas
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts
• Willingness to travel for day trips, conferences, training, and meetings
