Responsibilities
- Facilitate student learning through effective teaching and evaluation of learning in assigned courses
- Collaborate with faculty on curriculum review, development, and implementation
- Assist with course scheduling and the development of clinical affiliations and student learning experiences
- Serve as an academic advisor, mentor, and advocate for students within the nursing program
- Maintain research and/or scholarship productivity
- Model the University Mission through dedicated job performance and respectful collaboration
- Provide service to both internal and external communities
Requirements
- MSN degree in nursing
- Minimum of two years of full-time clinical nursing experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Illinois, or eligibility with an application in process
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctoral Degree in a relevant field
- Clinical experience in multispecialty areas
