About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support the undergraduate minor in Queer and Transgender Studies
  • Teach a standard load of two courses per semester, including specialization areas and required minor courses
  • Conduct original research as a tenure-track faculty member
  • Provide academic advising to students in the WGS major and Queer and Transgender Studies minor

Requirements

  • PhD in Gender Studies or a related field
  • Expertise in one or more of the following: Black Feminisms, Black Queer Studies, Black Trans Studies, Queer of Color Critique, Indigenous Studies, or Transnational Feminisms
  • Demonstrated research and teaching experience
