About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the undergraduate minor in Queer and Transgender Studies
- Teach a standard load of two courses per semester, including specialization areas and required minor courses
- Conduct original research as a tenure-track faculty member
- Provide academic advising to students in the WGS major and Queer and Transgender Studies minor
Requirements
- PhD in Gender Studies or a related field
- Expertise in one or more of the following: Black Feminisms, Black Queer Studies, Black Trans Studies, Queer of Color Critique, Indigenous Studies, or Transnational Feminisms
- Demonstrated research and teaching experience
