Assistant Professor, Radiation Therapy

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned laboratory, practical, and simulation sessions including online delivery
• Provide guidance, advisement, and support to students
• Foster knowledge building, practical skills, and critical thinking
• Supervise and provide guidance for student projects
• Set, mark, and assess work and examinations with timely feedback
• Determine and submit final course grades
• Maintain office hours for student remediation and learning plan development
• Participate in scholarship and research activity

Requirements

• Completion of undergraduate degree and relevant diploma or equivalent
• Registered in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Radiation Therapy
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Satisfactory Canadian Police Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in treatment planning and/or CT-Simulation
• Current membership with Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
• Understanding and commitment to learning-centered education
