Assistant Professor of Veterinary Medicine

Responsibilities

• Assist with teaching in CVM undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs, with a focus on anatomy and clinical skills
• Deliver lectures, seminars, small group discussions, and clinical assignments effectively
• Prepare examination questions, lecture objectives, course objectives, and other curricular metrics
• Provide instructional support for assigned courses and participate in graduate training or research programs
• Maintain intellectual integrity and strive for academic excellence in all teaching endeavors
• Participate in faculty meetings and serve on appointed or elected committees
• Foster working relationships with peers, other campus colleges, and external stakeholders
• Promote a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion within the CVM

Requirements

• DVM or equivalent degree

Preferred Qualifications

• MS or PhD
• Specialty board certification
