Assistant Professor of Veterinary Medicine

Responsibilities

• Assist with teaching in CVM undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs
• Carry out lectures, seminars, small group discussions, and clinical assignments
• Prepare examination questions, lecture objectives, and course objectives related to curricular requirements
• Provide instructional support for assigned courses and involvement in graduate training or research programs
• Maintain intellectual integrity and strive for academic excellence in all teaching endeavors
• Participate in faculty meetings and serve on appointed or elected committees
• Collaborate with peers, other campus colleges, and external stakeholders to achieve university goals
• Promote a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion within the CVM

Requirements

• DVM or equivalent degree

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of clinical experience
• Advanced training in veterinary medicine
