About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach introductory courses in Christian systematic theology and ethics, as well as upper-level courses in your secondary field.
- Maintain an active research program required for tenure.
- Engage with and support the holistic mission of the College as a liberal arts institution.
- Serve as a mentor and scholar within the Religion Department.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in a relevant field (late-stage ABD candidates will be considered).
- Evidence of excellence in undergraduate teaching.
- An active research program.
- A demonstrated commitment to the Christian mission and faith of the College.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in environmental theology.
- Expertise in Christian ethics.
