About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of educational materials for laboratories and didactic courses
- Teach pharmacotherapeutics and other areas within the pharmacy curriculum
- Develop and maintain a program of scholarship
- Serve as an active member of assigned college committees
- Serve as a clinical pharmacist in an outpatient clinic or inpatient acute care facility for a minimum of one day per week
- Precept students during their pharmacy practice experiences
- Maintain a commitment to teaching excellence and student engagement
Requirements
- PharmD degree
- Successful completion of a PGY1 or PGY2 accredited residency program, or equivalent experience
- Eligibility for pharmacist licensure in the state of South Carolina
- Clinical specialist experience in inpatient or outpatient ambulatory practice
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills
