About the role

Responsibilities

  • Teach biomedical science topics within the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) curriculum and collaborate on team-taught courses
  • Develop and deliver engaging, student-centered learning experiences that foster critical thinking
  • Contribute to B.S. in Pharmaceutical Sciences coursework and PharmD elective courses
  • Engage in scholarly activity through research, publication, and pursuit of internal or external funding
  • Mentor students in research projects and engage in collaborative scholarship
  • Participate in departmental, School, and College committees
  • Advise PharmD students regarding academic and professional development
  • Represent the College in professional or scientific organizations and engage in community outreach

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in pharmacology or a related biomedical science
  • Strong commitment to teaching excellence and student success
  • Demonstrated ability to engage in scholarly activity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Educational background in pharmacology from a school or college of pharmacy
  • Willingness to participate in professional development for teaching and scholarly growth
