Assistant Professor of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Teach in the MSN and DNP Family Nurse Practitioner and Leadership program tracks
• Network and coordinate with clinical agencies to secure practicum sites for graduate students
• Support the growth and development of the School of Nursing programs
• Engage in interdisciplinary teaching, research, and scholarship within a collegial environment

Requirements

• MSN degree (Doctorate preferred)
• Valid West Virginia nursing license (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner Certification
• Minimum of 1 year of nurse practitioner clinical experience within the past 3 years
• Unencumbered driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a faculty member
• Experience with online teaching modalities
