Assistant Professor of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Teach within the Judy Howard Hill Nursing program
• Provide academic advising and student support
• Hold regular office hours and assist students outside of the classroom
• Participate actively in the life of the School and the College
• Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and instruction

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required
• Unrestricted North Carolina nursing license or eligibility for licensure
• Experience in both didactic and clinical instruction
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to working with students and colleagues of diverse backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate in Nursing (DNP or PhD)
• Experience teaching pre-licensure nursing students
• Clinical expertise in Pediatrics or Obstetrics (OB)
• Flexibility in teaching various subjects or formats
