About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate marketing courses across multiple modalities, including in-person, online, and hybrid formats
- Maintain an active research agenda and produce original, discipline-based publications in peer-reviewed journals listed in ABDC or Cabell’s
- Advise and mentor students while supporting recruitment and retention efforts
- Adopt innovative teaching techniques, including experiential learning and interactive instructional practices
- Contribute to the development and improvement of courses, programs, and School initiatives
- Provide service to the Department, School, University, and the broader professional community
Requirements
- Terminal degree in marketing or a related field from an accredited institution (ABD candidates will be considered if the degree is completed by August 2026)
- Demonstrated potential to publish in discipline-based peer-reviewed journals listed in ABDC or Cabell’s
- Permanent right to work in the US on the first day of employment
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to teaching excellence and student mentoring
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Professional experience in related business fields
- Experience teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses
- Experience incorporating data analytics into curriculum
- Expertise in areas such as sales, CRM, business analytics, social media, digital marketing, branding, buyer behavior, supply chain, or services marketing
