Assistant Professor of Law, Constitutional Law

Responsibilities

• Teach constitutional law courses beginning in the 2027-2028 academic year
• Engage in active scholarship and legal research
• Contribute to a collegial, student-oriented, and anti-racist law school community
• Support the mission and core values of the McGeorge School of Law

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate (JD) or equivalent degree
• Demonstrated interest in teaching and legal scholarship
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Technological competence
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion

Preferred Qualifications

• Exceptional academic record
• Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice and equity in a university setting
• Ability to integrate culturally responsive practices into teaching and research
• Experience working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures
• Strong interpersonal skills
