About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct and publish cutting-edge research on entrepreneurship, with a specific focus on social entrepreneurship.
- Plan research to ensure IRB compliance, submit and present findings at academic conferences, and publish in academic journals.
- Engage in impactful teaching within undergraduate and graduate programs in management, entrepreneurship, and social entrepreneurship.
- Prepare syllabi, deliver lectures, grade student work, and provide mentorship and advising to students.
- Serve on departmental, school, university, and academic professional committees.
- Participate in faculty recruitment, curriculum evaluation, and university policy discussions.
Requirements
- PhD in Entrepreneurship or a related field.
- 3 years of related experience.
- Proven scholarly research skills, particularly regarding social entrepreneurship or entrepreneurial action in marginalized contexts.
- Experience teaching undergraduate or graduate-level courses.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience researching entrepreneurial action under conditions of poverty, displacement, or marginalization, with attention to Global South perspectives.
- Ability to integrate social entrepreneurship and global social/environmental justice perspectives into management curricula.
- Experience supporting curriculum in social venture creation and inclusive entrepreneurship.
- Ability to provide experiential education through venture ideation and applied exercises addressing social challenges.
