Assistant Professor of Dental Hygiene

Responsibilities

• Teach all classes according to an approved course syllabus
• Assess student academic achievement and modify teaching techniques based on feedback
• Develop and maintain curriculum and course syllabi
• Advise students and support their academic growth
• Attend department meetings and participate in program evaluation
• Submit accurate and timely reports regarding attendance and grades
• Participate in college and community service
• Stay current with pedagogy, teaching methodology, and industry trends

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of one year of experience in dental hygiene or a related field
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Tennessee
• Experience teaching in traditional classroom and online environments
• Proficiency in word processing and internet applications
• Ability to analyze and interpret student learning outcome data

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
