About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses including Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Corporate Finance, and business core foundational courses
- Support student learning through mentoring, professional development, and career readiness initiatives
- Contribute to experiential learning initiatives and applied business projects
- Engage in scholarly productivity (for tenure-track) or professional industry engagement (for Professor of Practice)
- Collaborate with faculty to support curricular integration and interdisciplinary learning
Requirements
- For Tenure-Track: PhD, DBA, or equivalent in business or a related discipline (ABD near completion considered)
- For Professor of Practice: Master’s degree (MBA, MAcc, or relevant graduate degree) and significant professional experience in accounting, finance, or related business practice
- Demonstrated ability to teach across the business core with a strength in Accounting or Finance
- Proven track record of effective teaching, professional training, or student engagement
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CMA
- Experience in applied, experiential, and practice-oriented learning environments
