Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses including introductory biology, neurobiology, and advanced electives in your area of expertise
- Develop engaging, inquiry-based laboratory experiences tailored to a liberal arts setting
- Establish and maintain an active research program that involves and mentors undergraduate students
- Advise and mentor students to foster their intellectual and professional growth
- Contribute to departmental and college-wide initiatives through committee service
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Neurobiology, Neuroscience, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution
- Demonstrated commitment to undergraduate teaching and mentoring
- Evidence of scholarly productivity with the potential to involve students in research
- Ability to teach broadly across the biology curriculum, including introductory biology
Preferred Qualifications
- Postdoctoral research experience
