Assistant Professor of Biology, Anatomy & Physiology

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in General Physiology, Human Anatomy and Physiology I & II, and other courses supporting the department curriculum
• Engage in scholarly activity and research within the field of biology
• Provide service to the University, School, and Department to support institutional missions
• Participate in the LMU New Faculty Academy to ensure a smooth transition into the academic community
• Collaborate with assigned faculty mentors during the first year of appointment

Requirements

• PhD in Physiology, Anatomy, or a closely related discipline
• Educational preparation in accordance with University and SACS requirements
• Demonstrated potential for effective teaching
• Evidence of scholarly activity

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in college-level teaching
