Assistant Professor of Anatomy

Responsibilities

• Deliver lecture and laboratory material in gross and micro-anatomy for Form & Function courses to first-year veterinary students
• Prepare teaching materials, including performing prosections, embalming, and maintaining specimen collections
• Conduct scholarly activities and research
• Mentor professional and graduate students
• Contribute service to the department, school, and university levels

Requirements

• DVM or equivalent degree
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in a related field
• 1+ years of teaching experience in gross anatomy laboratory or lecture settings
