Requirements
DVM or equivalent, PhD in related field preferred, Teaching experience in gross anatomy preferred
About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver lecture and laboratory material in gross and micro-anatomy for Form & Function courses to first-year veterinary students
- Prepare teaching materials, including performing prosections, embalming, and maintaining specimen collections
- Conduct scholarly activities and research
- Mentor professional and graduate students
- Contribute service to the department, school, and university levels
Requirements
- DVM or equivalent degree
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in a related field
- 1+ years of teaching experience in gross anatomy laboratory or lecture settings
