Assistant Professor of Accounting

Responsibilities

• Teach financial accounting or accounting technology at both undergraduate and graduate (MSA) levels
• Conduct high-quality research in the field of accounting
• Engage in departmental and university service activities
• Maintain a teaching load of 12 semester hours during the first year and 15 semester hours thereafter

Requirements

• Earned doctorate or a terminal degree in accounting or a related field
• Demonstrated potential for teaching excellence
• Demonstrated potential for conducting high-quality research

Preferred Qualifications

• Candidates who are ABD (All But Dissertation) may be considered
• Expertise in either archival or experimental research methods
• Relevant professional work experience or professional certifications
