Assistant Professor of Accounting

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate accounting courses with a typical four-four teaching load
• Mentor and advise students to support their academic and career development
• Maintain academic and professional qualifications consistent with AACSB standards
• Participate in assurance-of-learning and curriculum assessment activities
• Contribute to service at the department, college, and university levels

Requirements

• Graduate degree in Accounting from an accredited institution
• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential
• Demonstrated teaching effectiveness and ability to engage students in applied and conceptual topics

Preferred Qualifications

• Significant professional experience in the accounting field
• Prior university teaching experience
• Knowledge of or professional experience within the aviation or aerospace industry
