About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide academic and administrative leadership for the BS in Nursing program.
  • Oversee program operations, curriculum implementation, and faculty coordination.
  • Manage the CCNE accreditation process and ensure compliance with NYSED requirements.
  • Monitor academic quality and oversee ATI across all undergraduate courses.
  • Teach courses within the BS program and evaluate faculty in didactic and clinical settings.
  • Coordinate course offerings, faculty assignments, and student advising.
  • Support student recruitment, retention, and departmental governance.
  • Develop and evaluate curriculum and implement programmatic improvements.

Requirements

  • Earned doctorate in nursing or a doctorate (PhD, EdD, DNP) in a related field, plus a master's degree in nursing.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical practice with evidence of current and continuing practice.
  • Minimum of 3 years of college-level teaching and administrative experience in a baccalaureate or higher degree program.
  • Credentials at the rank of at least Assistant Professor.
  • Strong leadership, supervision, and written/oral communication skills.
  • Expertise in writing grant proposals and/or conducting research.
