Assistant Professor in Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction to didactic and clinical year students in the Physician Assistant program
• Teach approximately 24 credit hours per academic year using sound pedagogical practices and technology
• Advise, mentor, and provide research guidance to graduate-level students
• Engage in scholarly activities following the Boyer Model of Scholarship
• Assist with course revisions, curriculum development, and the preparation of student examinations
• Participate in University, professional, and community service activities

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Appropriate full-time clinical experience
• Current NCCPA certification
• Eligibility for PA, MD, or DO licensure in the state of Florida
• Ability to support and promote the University’s inclusive mission and Catholic identity

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate degree
• Prior teaching or clinical preceptor experience
• Research experience
• Three to five years of clinical experience
