Responsibilities
- Teach in BSN, MSN, and doctoral (DNP/PhD) nursing programs
- Conduct research leading to peer-reviewed publications, conferences, or grants
- Participate in scholarly activities within your field of expertise
- Mentor and advise both undergraduate and graduate students
- Serve on school, university, and public committees
Requirements
- DNP and/or PhD in nursing or a related field from an accredited university
- Current RN licensure in the State of Maine or eligibility for licensure
- Demonstrated ability to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels
- Strong record or promise of scholarship, including peer-reviewed publications
- Demonstrated ability to advise and mentor students
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Established research agenda including publications and grant funding
- Experience with specific research methods or post-doctoral research experience
- Record of high professional and institutional service and leadership capacity
