Responsibilities

  • Teach in BSN, MSN, and doctoral (DNP/PhD) nursing programs
  • Conduct research leading to peer-reviewed publications, conferences, or grants
  • Participate in scholarly activities within your field of expertise
  • Mentor and advise both undergraduate and graduate students
  • Serve on school, university, and public committees

Requirements

  • DNP and/or PhD in nursing or a related field from an accredited university
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Maine or eligibility for licensure
  • Demonstrated ability to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels
  • Strong record or promise of scholarship, including peer-reviewed publications
  • Demonstrated ability to advise and mentor students
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Established research agenda including publications and grant funding
  • Experience with specific research methods or post-doctoral research experience
  • Record of high professional and institutional service and leadership capacity
