Responsibilities

  • Maintain an active research agenda in cancer biology and therapeutics or a closely related field
  • Publish research findings in peer-reviewed venues and seek external grant funding
  • Mentor and supervise student researchers at both undergraduate and graduate levels
  • Teach graduate-level courses and participate in mentoring Master and PhD students
  • Provide service to the department, college, university, and the broader profession

Requirements

  • PhD or equivalent degree in biomedical science
  • Postdoctoral experience with demonstrated research excellence in cancer biology and treatment
  • Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in cancer-related fields
  • Expertise in cancer molecular biology, multi-omics, biomarkers, therapeutics, or database analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience building multi-disciplinary collaborations and working in team-oriented environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the mentorship of Master's and doctoral candidates' research
  • Previous graduate-level teaching experience
