About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach a variety of undergraduate psychology courses, including research methods, statistics, and areas of subject matter expertise
- Deliver instruction across multiple formats, including in-person, online, and hybrid settings
- Manage various class sizes, ranging from large lecture courses to small discussion-based skills courses
- Supervise undergraduate student teaching assistants within teaching practica
- Participate in departmental service, such as curriculum development and administrative committees
Requirements
- PhD in Psychology or a closely related field
- At least one academic term of experience as the primary instructor of record for psychology-related coursework at the postsecondary level
