Assistant Professor, Diagnostic Cytology

Responsibilities

• Provide academic leadership and foster an effective learning environment
• Utilize innovative teaching techniques for theory and practice in Diagnostic Cytology
• Evaluate student progress and provide advisement or remedial assistance
• Liaise with faculty, staff, and affiliated clinical site personnel
• Participate in internal committees

Requirements

• MLT with minimum six years of experience in diagnostic cytology
• Bachelor of Science in a related field
• Licensure with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO)
• Good standing with CSMLS and CMLTO
• Ability to teach introductory and advanced cytotechnology classes and labs
• Proficiency in MS Office and curriculum design software
• Satisfactory Canadian Police Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working or teaching in the field within the last 12 months
• Skill in online and hybrid delivery modes
