Assistant Professor, Clinical Coordinator, Abdomen Extended, OB/GYN

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical education and instruction in Abdomen Extended and OB/GYN concentrations
• Coordinate clinical education with didactic coursework to ensure student competency
• Evaluate the effectiveness of clinical affiliate partnerships
• Provide direct clinical instruction and document student progression
• Maintain compliance with JRC-DMS accreditation standards
• Manage a professional practice workload including teaching and clinical coordination

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree
• RDMS (Abdomen and OB/GYN) or ARRT credentials
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience as a registered sonographer
• Documented experience in supervision, instruction, evaluation, and student guidance
• Knowledge of educational theories and techniques (e.g., learning theory, curriculum design, or assessment)

Preferred Qualifications

• Registration in Vascular Sonography
• Prior teaching experience in a Sonography program
• Experience developing and implementing simulation activities
• Experience utilizing learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard)
