Assistant Production Manager

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between tour/client production and the venue, advancing technical information, rider requirements, and staging needs.
• Interface with local vendors, contractors, and venue production teams regarding stagehands, security, and rental equipment.
• Manage day-of-show operations from load-in to load-out, ensuring adherence to schedules and cost containment.
• Assist the Production Manager with show accounting, artist settlement, and vendor payments.
• Track labor costs and maintain budgets to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Support the onboarding and training of production staff to ensure team readiness and adherence to best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of event-based production experience, specifically within live music.
• General knowledge of venue operations and touring logistics.
• Proficiency in Windows applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift or move up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods in a loud, high-energy environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
