Assistant Product Line Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop market insights through strategic assessments of markets, customers, competitors, and capabilities
• Create effective product line visions, strategies, roadmaps, and critical project plans
• Define next-generation product requirements and champion associated projects
• Drive cross-functional teams to deliver strategy and product line P&L goals
• Provide and maintain sales tools, such as value proposition presentations and product offerings
• Interpret customer needs to support capacity planning, forecasting, and demand management
• Establish product pricing strategies and manage requests within those parameters
• Monitor product line performance and lead business process improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or science
• 3+ years of business experience in commercial, strategy, engineering, or technical areas
• Knowledge of marketing, business analysis, and commercial operations
• Demonstrated track record of leading multinational teams and managing projects
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn quantitative data into business insights
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or equivalent degree
• Financial analysis and accounting experience
• Experience in people management
• Work experience in manufacturing, engineering, or development
• Previous product management experience
• Knowledge of the automotive industry
• International work experience or leadership of multicultural projects
