Assistant Product Engineer

Responsibilities

• Track all product stages from materials to shipment to ensure quality and timely delivery
• Resolve technical issues during the production process to control scrap and rework rates
• Analyze technical indicators, including yield, pass, and scrap rates, to implement continuous improvement plans
• Assist technical supervisors in solving major or critical technical issues in the production process
• Support the FA department with RMA product analysis
• Provide technical support to sourcing, PMC, S&M, QA, and PLM departments
• Deliver product technical training to production line employees to improve quality awareness

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Optical, or Electrical Engineering
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in engineering or process positions
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in MS Office (PPT, Word, Excel)
• Strong communication skills and logical thinking

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the electronics or optical communication industry
• Good knowledge of optical or electrical systems
• Familiarity with QA analysis tools
• Six Sigma analysis and lean production capabilities
